2012 New Dodge Durango SUV

Dodge Durango is back, after 2 years retired. Finally, dodge durango released the third generation and entered production on december 2010. The new dungo durango is SUV model, a family vehicle for 21st century. The body of Dodge Durango is like a jeep but larger with seven passenger (standart). The new 2011 Dodge Durango has been well designed to offer good handling, good ride balance and sporty styling.

Dodge SUV can be compared with Chevrolet Traverse, Ford Explorer, Honda Pilot, Toyota Highlander. And how about the price? The new dungo durange is on sales now, starting at $30,045 for the lowest price,  $34,045 until $42,645.

The exterior of the new Durango is amazing! rugged, and very classy.  With Body-color front, rear bumpers, pearl paint, Rear side windows: on driver side and passenger side, Rear window defroster, Roof spoiler, Halogen headlights with complex surface lenses and Front fog lights.

The Durango’s have three row seats. In the front seats comfortable. In the second row, the legroom is enough although not plentiful for a 5-10 feet-. And in the third row only have 2 seats. overall comforts is quite enough with flat cushioning. Dodge has designed a low-effort with flip mechanism in the second row seats so you can access to the third row wihout any help. Dodge have air conditioner in all zone, fisrt row until third row.  Maximmum cargo capacity in this dodge duranho is 84,5 cubic feet.

The electronic facility in the Dodge Durango is still considered less, although it has been equipped with touch screen TV 8,4 inch. If you want a more modern facility you have to pay additional money to complete it, like iPod integration, a keyless ignition, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring or a back-up camera with rear cross-traffic detection.

The New Dodge Durango have standard 3.6 liter V-6 engine, so it will give an extra 80 horsepower than previous editions. But for the speed transmission, durango only offer five, unlike any other SUV that offers a 6 speed transmission.  Despite this reduction in available gears.  Overall performance for this car is not bad. With 16 miles per gallon city fuel efficiency and 23 miles per gallon for highway efficiency. The Dodge Durango is available in a more powerful V-8. The V-8 engine is recommended for those who want total towing capacity, which fully outfitted is about 7400 pounds.
